Full evening correction brief: PSA Standard $59.99 Now Live on Checkout Evening Sept 14.
This is a dated day-of update to Card Grading News' prior announce piece, PSA Standard $59.99 Opens Sept 14; Europe Submissions Sept 15. It does not overwrite that post. We re-fetched PSA's live pricing page and the company announcement on September 14, 2026 morning.
Primary live checkout/services page opened this run: PSA Trading Card Grading services. Primary announcement opened this run: PSA Opens New Standard Service Level and Begins Grading in Europe.
What the live services page shows right now
On the Sep 14, 2026 fetch of PSA's trading-card grading services page, Card Grading News did not find a listed Standard service at $59.99. Visible orderable-looking consumer tiers on that page (excluding Premium high-value lanes) included:
Label on live page | Published price / card | Notes from page |
|---|---|---|
Value | Paused / unavailable | Value services remain temporarily paused; still referenced on page |
Regular | $79.99 | Max insured value $1,500; estimated 70-80 business days |
Express | $199.00 | Live at the new Express price; max insured value $2,500 |
Super Express | $349.00 | Max insured value $5,000 on the live page |
Walk-Through | $599.00 | Max insured value $10,000; prior name still shown live |
Decision rule: Do not assume Standard is orderable until the live PSA checkout or services page actually lists Standard at $59.99 (or another published Standard price). An announcement date is not the same as a live SKU.
What PSA's Standard announcement still says
PSA's September announcement still states that it will open a new service level called Standard at $59.99 per card, with an estimated 90 to 100 business-day turnaround and a maximum insured value of $1,000. The same piece says Standard is not a replacement for Value tiers, which remain paused, and that Standard orders will be processed following existing Value and Bulk orders at lower price points.
That announcement also describes renaming Regular to Priority ($79.99, 70-80 business days, $1,500 max insured value) and Walk-Through to Premier ($599, with Premier's published turnaround and $10,000 max insured value), plus Express moving to $199.00. On the Sep 14, 2026 live services page fetch, Priority and Premier labels were not visible as the live tier names; Regular and Walk-Through labels were still shown. Express at $199.00 was live on that page.
Europe Sep 15 CET is still upcoming
Per the same PSA announcement, collectors across the European Union can submit directly starting September 15 at 12:01 a.m. Central European Time, with PSA describing Frankfurt-based capacity for European customers. That window was still ahead of the Sep 14, 2026 U.S. morning check. Treat Europe open as a separate clock from whether Standard appears on the U.S. services page.
How this fits nearby CGN coverage
Keep the announce timeline separate from day-of checkout truth: prior CGN Standard / Europe announce brief. For backlog context around capacity, see PSA backlog at 9.9 million (Sept 8 update) and PSA Regular turnaround 70-80 business days. Competing mid-tier pricing context: SGC Standard at $50 after Sept 2 update.
Separately, Beckett digital platforms remain on a maintenance notice as of CGN's Sept 14 Beckett outage brief. That is a different company and a different failure mode; do not mix Beckett downtime with PSA tier rollout status.

Bottom line
Launch-morning reality on Sep 14, 2026: Standard $59.99 was not listed on PSA's live trading-card grading services page. Regular, Express ($199), Super Express, and Walk-Through labels were. Value remains paused. Europe submissions remain scheduled for September 15 CET per PSA's announcement. Re-check the live PSA services page before you build an order around Standard.
