Collectors watching Beckett's earlier Base and Standard pause treated September 15, 2026 as the estimate for when those online tiers might begin reopening. That estimate appeared on Beckett's card-grading-availability notice and was covered in prior CGN reporting (RWT Collective / Dallas drop-offs and Sep 15 target). This is a day-of verify on September 15, 2026: the controlling primary today is not a restored availability page. It is the same full-platform maintenance interstitial CGN documented on Beckett digital platforms offline since Sept 9.

What we verified live on September 15

Opened this run with redirects followed (no login wall):

https://www.beckett.com/ returns HTTP 302 to beckett-maintenance-page.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html. The page still states that starting at 7:00 p.m. CT on September 9, Beckett took all Beckett websites and the Beckett mobile app offline for infrastructure work, and that Beckett is not accepting any new submissions at Beckett.com or other Beckett sites until digital platforms are restored.

https://beckett.com/card-grading-availability (and the www variant) also redirect to the same S3 maintenance page. There is no live Beckett HTML on that path today that accepts online Base or Standard checkout. Indexed or archived wording about a September 15 reopen estimate is therefore superseded by the still-active platform outage.

Beckett's maintenance notice still says it will accept in-person drop-off submissions at shows it is attending, including the Dallas Card Show and the LA Card Show, and that existing orders already received continue in-house. Dallas was previously calendared September 10-13, so that show window may have ended; confirm any remaining booth capacity before travel. LA Card Show remains named on the primary notice. Beckett lists [email protected] for help and says further updates will appear on the same page.

Estimate vs outage: keep the lanes straight

Lane

What it controlled

Status as of Sep 15, 2026

Base/Standard online pause (Aug notice)

Specific online tiers paused; Express/Priority had been listed as available; Sep 15 reopen estimate

Cannot verify on live Beckett availability HTML; URL serves S3 maintenance

Digital platform outage (from Sep 9, 7pm CT)

All Beckett websites and app offline; no new online submissions until restore

Still live on S3 maintenance interstitial

Show drop-offs

In-person submissions at shows Beckett attends

Still stated (Dallas named; LA named); confirm live event capacity

Existing in-house orders

Orders Beckett already received

Still stated as continuing

Public restore / reopen clock

Date when online Base/Standard or full sites return

Not published on the maintenance page; do not invent one

Decision rule: A calendar date on an older availability notice does not reopen Beckett while the homepage still serves maintenance. Until Beckett restores digital platforms on its own domain, assume no new online submissions, including Base and Standard.

What collectors should do today

Do not ship a new online Beckett order hoping Sep 15 magically restored checkout. Re-check beckett.com yourself before promising a friend or customer an online slot.

Show drop-offs are the exception Beckett still names, not a substitute for restored websites. Capacity can close. Prior CGN show coverage remains useful context: Front Row Vegas Base/Standard drop-offs and RWT Collective LA / Dallas September drop-offs.

Already-accepted Beckett orders should keep processing per Beckett's statement. Track them through whatever status channel Beckett restores; the outage notice does not say in-house work stopped.

If you need a live online grader today, compare open tiers on other companies' own service pages (PSA, CGC, TAG, and others) rather than assuming Beckett Base/Standard returned. For Beckett-specific prep checklists and how-to context (not a live reopen claim), see CardGrade.io's Beckett grading guide and Beckett grading checklist.

The bottom line

On September 15, 2026, Beckett's Sep 15 Base/Standard reopen estimate is operationally superseded: homepage and card-grading-availability both still land on the S3 maintenance page that blocks new online submissions since Sept 9 at 7:00 p.m. CT. No restore date is published there. Show drop-offs Beckett names and existing in-house orders continue per the notice. Verify beckett.com before you act.

Frequently asked questions

Did Beckett reopen Base and Standard online on September 15?

Not that we can verify from Beckett's live domain today. The availability URL redirects to the same S3 maintenance page as the homepage, which says Beckett is not accepting any new online submissions until platforms are restored. We are not claiming Base/Standard checkout is open.

Is the September 15 estimate cancelled?

Beckett has not published a separate "cancelled" banner we can quote on a restored availability page, because that page is not reachable as normal HTML right now. Practically, the full-platform outage controls: treat the estimate as superseded until Beckett restores digital platforms and publishes a current availability update on its own site.

Can I still drop cards at a show?

Beckett's maintenance notice says it will still accept in-person drop-off submissions at shows it is attending, including Dallas Card Show and LA Card Show. Confirm the event is live and the booth still has capacity before you travel.

When will Beckett.com come back?

The maintenance page does not publish a restore clock. It says Beckett is working through the process and will provide additional updates there. CGN will not invent a date.

Are existing Beckett orders safe?

Beckett states existing orders it has already received are not impacted and that it will continue processing in-house submissions.
